Cash - Buster x Shira 2019
"Our beautiful boy Cash, was born on July 10, 2019. His gotcha day was September 26, 2019. We couldn’t wait to have him join our family and are so glad we have him!
Why did we do a co-own contract? In all honesty, the majority of the decision came from cost, however the final decision was made based on Melissa’s reputation, patience (default questioner here), caring personality, and want to provide others with a high quality and healthy dog. We were very happy to take Cash, raise him, keep him intact, and provide the opportunity to carry on the Revival American Bulldog blood line.
Throughout the last year and a half, we have communicated with Melissa often about what to do or not to do, sharing pics of our boy and also just checking in to see how us humans are doing. It’s been a weird year or so for everyone! Melissa is always willing to give suggestions and provide any helpful advice...and from what I have seen via other avenues (Facebook, Instagram) it’s not just for us. I had someone ask me once if our breeder had told us in the contract - if we ever decide to rehome our dog, are we supposed to contact them first - the answer is yes. To which that person responded...that’s the sign of a good breeder, it shows they really care. Melissa does.
Even if we didn’t go into co-ownership with her, I know Melissa still would want to know how Cash was doing and would talk with us through anything. That’s just how she is. I remember her saying “bulldog puppies are crazy” and she was right! But, what puppy isn’t?!?! They are also the most lovable, loyal, and happiest fur family members one could ever have. We can’t imagine our lives without Cash and if you decide to welcome one of Melissa’s kiddos into your home, either co-own or not, you won’t be sorry."

Petey - Buster x Shira 2019
"My name is Nicol Duke, I co-own Petey with Melissa De Decker. In June 2019 I was looking for a creditable breeder of American Bulldogs, I was put in contact with Melissa De Decker. Right
from the first conversation with Melissa, I was impressed with her knowledge and her passion about the bred. She takes great pride in her dogs and vets potential owners. She really does a great job of matching the puppy to owner. The assessment she does on each puppy and sends out to each potential new puppy owner is amazing. Petey is the puppy I co-own and the assessment of him, to how he has turned out is bang on. The time she puts into the binder of information she sends home with you and your new puppy, is nothing short of amazing. My daughter that was 12 at the time and couldn’t believe she put so much time into the binder for
each puppy.
Melissa is always there to answer any question I have or just to send pictures of Petey growing up. She always responds. Her online training is amazing, it is wonderful to be part of it. Petey
and I have done really well with the training. This summer Melissa held a show at her kennel which Petey and I attended. It was nice to meet up and see his brother there. Melissa was over the moon to see her pups again.
I would recommend Melissa De Decker/ Revival American Bulldogs to anyone that is interested in getting an American bulldog. Co-owning with Melissa has been wonderful.
